In a year when Stelrad has been shortlisted for more awards than ever before the leading radiator manufacturer has heard it has been shortlisted for even more awards – in three separate categories in the H&V News Awards – the annual Oscars of the heating industry.
The H&V News Awards involve a far more rigorous process than most awards in the sector. To win one of these awards requires the entrants to not just complete an entry form but to undergo judging by two independent judges in a face-to-face question and answer session. It’s a much more onerous task than most awards, so to be shortlisted is a major achievement.
This year Stelrad has been shortlisted for three H&V News awards – so quite a coup for the company: “We’re delighted to have been shortlisted in the Apprentice of the Year category with our apprentice Cobie Whitehead in the running for the award,” says Marketing Communications Manager Sarah Baker, “ He has already been shortlisted in the local South Yorkshire Apprentice of the Year Award and in this year’s Heating and Plumbing Magazine Awards. We have also been shortlisted in the Collaboration of the Year category for our joint project with Tata Steel on the provision of our Green Series radiators and in the Domestic Heating Product of the Year category for our Electric Series radiators.”
Judging takes place in the next couple of months and the awards event is at the London Hilton Metropole on Thursday 28th November.
