George Dunnett is a rising star in the world of internet house renovation projects with each of his You Tube Channel posts getting well over a million hits. His laid back, gentle style of taking viewers through the renovations from first purchase to room-by-room renovation and final unveiling of the finished home, is highly appealing and makes for easy watching whilst clearly educating the viewers – sharing tips and suggestions for how to achieve things and even very honestly highlighting other ways he would have done things with hindsight.
It’s an approach that appealed to Stelrad whose radiators feature in the renovations.
They supplied the two radiators featured in his latest video – one a vertical and one a horizontal Concord designer radiator both of which appear in his videos. The property being renovated is in a village in Perthshire around twenty miles north of Edinburgh and being rural, the heating system is driven by an oil combi boiler.
“I chose Stelrad radiators for the project because I’d used them in my previous renovation after my plumber recommended them to me as being ‘the best’” says George. “I believe in trusting my tradesmen and delighted they were so highly rated by someone who installs radiators in a regular basis. I was perfectly happy with how they performed in my previous place so for me it was an easy choice.”
George went for designer radiators this time around simply because they looked so good on the walls. Far from just being a source of heat, quality modern radiators can actually add to the décor. He plans to use four more of these radiators when he moves on to the next stage of the renovation too: “It may sound a strange thing to say but when you touch them, you can actually feel how high quality they are!”
“We’re delighted to have been able to give George some assistance in his renovation project and agree that the radiators he has selected add to the quality of the job he has done,” says Stelrad’s Nicole Pollock, Brand Specialist for Scotland. “Increasing numbers of people are getting involved in the choice of the radiators in their homes and projects so we’re not surprised that George has been drawn towards the Concord radiators for his property. With radiators now being considered a serious part of the décor rather than simply a metal box on the wall people are taking the time and the trouble to get involved in the selection process and we’re pleased to see the radiators so prominently exhibited in the videos George puts on his You Tube channel – we’re sure his viewer will be influenced by how well they look when they see the way they look on the walls of his project.”
