Stelrad Radiators takes pride in the number of schools, colleges and universities it provides radiators for – ensuring educational establishments are warm and inviting and make learning fun up and down the country. The latest school to benefit from the installation of brand new Stelrad radiators is Clifton Green Primary School in York.
Clifton Green is a vibrant and inclusive school in the centre of York providing high quality education for 3-11 year olds. Its children, staff and families take pride in belonging to the local community and they work together to nurture all areas of a child’s development.
The school serves around 420 children and has a team of approximately 60 staff. It has a large, on-site Nursery for 3 and 4 year old children and two parallel classes in each year group from Reception to Year 6. The school was built in 1970 and was previously known as Kingsway Junior School. It is lucky enough to have a large site which provides both indoor and outdoor learning environments including a huge school field, adventure play area, ‘Bark Park’ and Clifton Wood.
The school recently had a major upgrade of its heating system to ensure the school is warm and cosy in the winter months making going to school a pleasurable thing all year round. The school has installed a large number of Stelrad Vita Deco radiators – attractive white radiators with a horizontal lined front panel.
“We were delighted to be involved in this project in beautiful York,” says Stelrad’s Lewis Aird, Specification Manger for the north of England. We’re seeing our radiators installed in a wide range of schools in the area – from Primary schools such as Clifton Green up to larger senior schools and then in colleges and universities as well – both in the establishments themselves and in student accommodation blocks as well. The wide range of radiators we offer ensure there’s a solution for pretty much every project out there.”
