Exeter College – Devon and Exeter’s Construction Training Centre – has benefitted from its links with the UK’s leading radiator manufacturer, Stelrad Radiators. When a request from the college came in, Stelrad was happy to help plumbing and heating trainees and apprentices at the College to get ‘hands on’ skills with quality equipment.
Chris Bennett is Plumbing & Electrical Team Leader at the College’s Falcon House centre on Sowton Industrial Estate: “We have developed good relationships with manufacturers of many plumbing and electrical components over the past few years. I contacted Stelrad who were happy to supply of a number of radiators of different sizes for the apprentices to get their hands on and learn with. Resources are always tight so getting equipment provided by manufacturers is a great way of ensuring our students can work with quality materials and components as they work towards gaining their qualifications.”
Mark Pullin is Stelrad’s Business Development Manager for the South West: “It’s always good to get our products into the hands of young plumbers and heating installers so that they get used to working with our products and used to installing quality radiators on an everyday basis. It’s great to drop by and see the apprentices at the college working with our radiators – they are the tradespeople of the future and we’re happy to be able to help them in our own small way.”
Stelrad radiators are available from all quality builders and plumbers merchants across Devon and more information about the wide range of radiators they manufacture can be found on their excellent web site at www.stelrad.com.
