Silver Towel Rail FAQs
Is a Silver Towel Radiator a Better Option to Chrome or White?
There is no advantage to choosing a silver towel radiator or other finish such as white, black, chrome or anthracite. Each will provide near identical heating performance, with considerations needed to be made for differing size rooms and heat loss. The colour or finish you choose comes down to personal preference, the same with if you choose a standard or designer towel radiator.
How Do I Install a Towel Radiator Correctly?
Each towel radiator contains instructions and fittings for easy installation at home. They can be fitted by yourself if you’re feeling handy, or by tradespeople if you’re looking to arrange this. We recommend ensuring you have the right size towel radiator as if it is too big or too small, you will struggle to install to your existing central heating. Use our size calculator to find the best options for your exact requirements.
Are Towel Rails Energy Efficient?
We design our radiators with energy efficiency in mind, so you can have peace of mind that no matter how often you use your central heating, your radiators will be working optimally to avoid high energy bills. Of course, if you leave radiators on a high setting for long periods, this will use more energy compared to little use. The best way to select a towel rail is by working out the BTU (British Thermal Unit) requirement for the room. If you select a towel radiator that has a low BTU output for the room size, it may not work as efficiently.
