FAQs

SWING RADIATOR FAQs

What is a Swing radiator?

Open Close

The Swing radiator is the latest innovation in vertical radiators that features a flat panel that is made from one piece of curved steel. This allows for a stand-out design that can provide a block colour feature to any wall in your home. As it is a vertical radiator, you can place this and much more narrow spaces when compared to a classic horizontal radiator. In terms of performance, you won’t be disappointed, with Stelrad Swing K2 designer radiators providing plenty of heat in larger spaces if required, or even P+ models for superior heating for larger homes.

Is a Swing radiator better than a vertical column radiator?

Open Close

Both types of radiators provide style and heating excellence, so if you are torn between the two, it really does come down to personal preference. If you like the design of column vertical radiators rather than a block front panel on the Swing radiator, go for this. Rather than compare which is better, it will all depend on the room you want to fit it in. For this reason, you should use our BTU calculator and provide details of your kitchen, hallway, or living room, and we can tell you which is the right fit for the job.

Can I easily install a Swing radiator myself?

Open Close

Like all Stelrad radiators, the Swing flat panel radiators come complete with full installation instructions and the brackets you need. This should make it simple to fit to your wall after delivery. If you prefer, you can arrange independently to have help with fitting, but their design ensures this should be a simple task for most. If you have any questions about installation, please let us know. You’ll find a helpful installation video on our YouTube channel too that will show you how to successfully install your Swing.
