THE COLUMN RADIATOR: CLASSIC WHITE
Stelrad Column Horizontal Radiators have a timeless white finish that pairs beautifully with white woodwork, coving and doors for a seamless, coherent interior design. White radiators are also perfect in bathrooms, utilities, and kitchens where white takes centre stage.
On the other hand, if your décor showcases the deep, dark tones featured in many period properties, an anthracite grey radiator may be better suited to your style. If so, then have a look at our Column Concept Radiator which is finished in dark anthracite – the decade’s hottest colour – this radiator has the same superb design and is also available as a vertical radiator in the Column Vertical Concept Range.
THE COLUMN HORIZONTAL RADIATOR: HOT PERFORMER
With even the smallest 300x444mm model offering a possible 1287 BTU/hr and the largest producing a mighty 10143 BTU/hr, these column horizontal radiators work hard whilst looking fabulous. It is important that you understand the BTU requirements of the room where the radiator will be located. Use our BTU Heat Loss Calculator to input your room’s size, construction, glazing, and other factors, to be provided with an estimated BTU requirement. You should then use this figure when assessing which radiator is best for your room.
Another factor to consider when purchasing a Column Horizontal Radiator is the number of columns. Each vertical section of the radiator is divided into either 2, 3, or 4-column. The more columns the more heat. Also bear in mind that a 4-column radiator is deeper than a 2-column radiator, and so on, so will protrude further from the wall. Also, a smaller 4-column radiator may produce more heat than a large 2-column radiator. Use the BTU with the measurements of your available space to determine which is best for you.
This premium style of radiator comes with a 5-year warranty to support its quality build and performance. You would not expect any less from Stelrad.
The Column Radiator can be wall-mounted or floor-mounted to suit your design and preference. Suitable brackets are available separately.
