All good things come in small packages, as they say. With technological advances in heating design, the same can now also be said for radiators. Mini radiators are the go-to heating solution for all small spaces in your home, whether you have a tiny cloakroom, a small guest room or a narrow hallway that needs some warmth.

MINI RADIATOR FAQS

Are Designer Mini Radiators Efficient?

Open Close

All mini radiators at Stelrad are incredibly efficient, perhaps more so than you might think given their size and trendy styles. Our UK designer radiators are made of highly conductive steel compounds. This not only delivers efficient heating to your home but can even drive down your energy bills. Stelrad’s designer fashion radiators direct heat through their superconductive bodies, heating up instantly, enabling them to use less water than other radiator styles.

How Do I Calculate the Heating Requirements of a Room?

Open Close

A modest-sized room with a lot of furniture may struggle to fit a standard horizontal radiator, for example, so when looking for the smallest space saving radiator, you should ensure it will still provide ample heating.

It is an important and sometime complex calculation when determining what size radiator is required to heat a room to the correct level. STARS (Stelrad Technical Advanced Radiator System) heat loss calculator offers a simpler way to get sizing of radiators right, first time. Both fabric heat loss and ventilation heat loss are calculated to establish the radiator output and required size.

Stelrad measure output in Btu/hr, British Thermal Unit per hour which is the standard measurement used to state the amount of output of any heat generating device. Heat output can also be measured in Watts, 1 watt is equivalent to 3.412 Btu/hr.
