GREY RADIATORS FAQS
Do Grey Wall Radiators Heat as Well as White Radiators?
White is the traditional colour for a radiator because a white radiator best reflects the heat it creates rather than trying to absorb it. However, the heat produced by a black radiator is only a miniscule 1% less than a white radiator. Therefore, when deciding to purchase your modern grey radiator, colour should be a style choice not a performance one.
When checking the performance of a radiator, use our BTU Heat Loss Calculator. This will take into account the important factors: the size of your room, the wall construction, and the window area. It will provide you with the BTU (British Thermal Unit) requirement for your room. This is what you should look for when choosing your grey radiator.
