BLACK BATHROOM RADIATOR FAQs

How can I keep a black bathroom radiator clean?

Open Close

To keep your black bathroom radiator clean, you can use warm water and soap. This is a good idea to do regularly as it might become dirty after leaving towels on it regularly. With black radiators this can be more difficult to see, so you will need to remember to do it. Make sure you remove dust regularly, with a hoover preferably.

What do I need to instal a black bathroom radiator?

Open Close

You will get everything you need for installing the black bathroom radiator in the packaging, included in your radiator box. This will include brackets to help easy and secure installation, plastic inserts to place the radiator precisely onto the bracket and a nickel-plated plug. You will also find a vent to provide a watertight joint and ensure a superior finish.

How can I fix a leaking bathroom radiator?

Open Close

The reason for a bathroom leaking is usually down to a faulty gland nut connection in the valve. You will notice this as there will be water on the floor near the pipes. To fix this you will need to remove the rubber cover on the valve and then remove the gland nut using a spanner. Using PTFE tape, you can repack under the nut. Make 1-2 inches of the tape into a string and wrap this around the radiator spindle. Using a small screwdriver, you can press it down below the thread. Now put the nut back on, its rubber cover and the screw. Make sure the rubber stopper turns without too much resistance, or too little. You can add more tape if this didn’t fix the problem.
