Stelrad Radiators has been the first company to announce it has renewed its sponsorship of the National Heating Installer Awards for next year – 2023 – following a successful first year of sponsorship alongside these headline awards in the heating industry.
The Heating Installer Awards were established to raise the credibility and celebrate the achievements of plumbers and heating installers across the UK. The awards have been running for seven years with the 2023 awards being the eighth year in succession they have been unleashed on the heating sector.
Stelrad’s Marketing Communications Manager Sarah Baker says the company’s involvement has been hugely positive and it was an easy decision to renew their sponsorship for next year: “We were delighted to host the regional judging session this year in Mexborough and to be able to facilitate a trip around the factory here to see some of the more than two million radiators we manufacture here in South Yorkshire each year coming off the line. We were pleased with the impressive media coverage the awards and our involvement achieved and the significant coverage we saw on social media.”
This year the awards saw a final entry of 164 entries after the initial entries were slimmed down to the regional entrants, The National winners were selected and announced at Installer Show at the NEC in June. The 2022 National Winner was John Cruickshank with Damon Blakemore National Runner-Up. Alan Marcon was voted the Most Sustainable Installer for 2022 and Josh Bentley the Rising Star for 2022.
“With installers our most vital target each year, these awards give us a great opportunity to communicate directly with installers through the awards and social media in particular,” says Sarah Baker. “It’s been a huge pleasure to be a part of the awards and to have an influence on how the winners are selected. We look forward to a re-run of this year’s success in 2023 and to be working alongside the team to deliver another successful award scheme.”
