Last week Stelrad took part in the inaugural Heating & Plumbing Monthly Awards held at the Midland Hotel in Manchester.
Stelrad was one of the awards sponsors, sponsoring the Awareness Campaign of the Year category with the award presented by Stelrad Production manager Lee Jubb. Stelrad apprentice Luke Deehan was one of the finalists in the Apprentice of the Year category.
“We were delighted to be involved in these awards and to present the award for the category we sponsored,” said Lee Jubb. “It was good to meet people from across the industry and to contribute to these prestigious awards.”
Five Stelrad team members attended the event – Lee Jubb, Production Manager, Ashley Woodcock, Maintenance Manager, Luke Deehan, Apprentice Welder/Fabricator, Mark Godber, Section Manager and Andy Chambers – Quality Assurance and Training Manager.
The awards were introduced by Heating & Plumbing Monthly editor Joe Ayling and compered by TV and Radio personality Jenny Powell. After appearing on No Limits, she went on to present series such as Wheel of Fortune, UP2U, Gimme 5, Live Talk, Wordplay and Daybreak.
